From agile Spitfires to formidable Flying Fortresses, the history of aluminum-clad aircraft is one of extraordinary engineering and death-defying feats of flight. Inspired by this history, Jerry Moran crafts ultra-light cufflinks from new and salvaged aircraft aluminum, rivets, and other material. Cut with a water jet, polished through a five-day process, and plated in sterling silver, each pair celebrates the industrial beauty of the materials that transformed the field of flight. This square pair is punctuated by an original rivet and a contrasting cube of hematite. They make a spiffy gift for any guy who likes to look sharp (but would really rather be wearing a bomber jacket). Handmade in Colorado.
