Made from sustainably sourced wood, it’s the kind of piece that feels just as at home at a casual snack spread as it does at a thoughtfully set table.

Steve and Erika Gray are a husband-and-wife team in Oregon who transform locally sourced hardwoods into functional, beautiful kitchen tools. Steve, born in Eugene, studied biology and worked for US Fish and Wildlife before pursuing woodworking full time. Erika, with a background in business, joined him after they met playing volleyball. Alongside their daughters and a small team, they craft sustainably by using fall-down lumber that would otherwise go to waste. Outside the workshop, they rescue and foster dogs, care for cats, and enjoy a creative, family-centered life rooted in Oregon.

Care

Hand wash with warm, soapy water and dry immediately. For best results, lean upright until fully dry. Do not put in the dishwasher. Apply a good cutting board oil often to maintain the beauty of the wood.
