Salt of the Earth

It takes eons for the salty ocean waves to shape a smooth, dappled stone out of rugged rock. Craftsman Jeff Henderson fuses those elements of salt and stone to create this naturally beautiful salt cellar for your dining table or kitchen counter. Paired with a handy bamboo serving spoon, each one is formed from a stone collected from coastal New England and carefully ground and shaped to form a lidded salt compartment. The stone is naturally moisture absorbent, which helps preserve the freshness of your salt, or whatever spice you are using to rock your menu. Handmade in Eliot, Maine.
