Beautifully handcrafted pot!

I love my new soapstone pot! I love the look of the copper handles and band on this beautifully handcrafted pot. I used my new pot today for the corn I brought to our family Thanksgiving dinner. I took it from the oven to my niece's house and 45 minutes later the corn was still warm. I can't wait to use this more!

Favorite New Cookpot

Bought this without too much investigation, but both my wife and I are enthralled with the capabilities of this versatile and beautiful cookware. We've adapted several recipes (so far) to this cookpot and have been very happy with the results. Consistent heating, dependably non-stick, excellent cover seal due to the weight of the stone. Wish there was more focused recipes for soapstone cooking around, but it's pretty easy to work with general recipes and we have found ourselves looking for excuses to use it.

These pots are gorgeous and very easy to clean and take care of. I hang mine in the kitchen because they are also really beautiful! I initially bought for my mother as a Thanksgiving gift and subsequently also bought for myself. Would make a great gift for any chef!
