Emma Mann's interest in natural skincare began when her daughter was born premature. "I wanted only the purest products on her delicate skin, so I began formulating." Years later, Emma's by-then college-aged daughter urged her mom to start her own business. Before she was an entrepreneur, Emma's U.S. Merchant Marine career took her on deployments around the world. Today, home is California's Sonoma County, where Emma works with her sister and daughter in a historic barn that's over 100 years old.
