Modern Family

Looking at your genealogy can bring your life into a new focus. It's astonishing to discover which great-grandmother shares your dimples, or which great-great-grandfather shared your love of world travel.

Now you can make your personal ancestry a focal point of your decor, with this colorful, genealogical art print. The bold, contemporary design suggests the concentric rings of a tree, or beams of light focused in to a single point -- reminding you how many lives have come together to put you where you are today. Provide what you have of up to seven generations of ancestors' names, and they will be customized into the ready-to-frame print. Printed on acid-free watercolor paper with matte finish in Burlington, VT.

Exclusively for UncommonGoods

For designer Jen O'Neill, having a child was a major life turning point, both personally and creatively. Facing a host of new challenges, she began to think of the generations of mothers before her who had faced those same difficulties and gotten through them just fine. Drawing on her background in fashion and packaging design, she began to create beautiful genealogicalartwork that pays tribute to those forbearers. "Our family tree serves as an emotional reminder that we always have the wisdom, humor and experience of generations to draw upon." Her custom prints now allow others to experience that connection with the larger storyline of family history.
