Upcycled from vintage saris by artisans working under fair-trade practices in India, this gorgeous scarf is a patchwork of luxurious, richly colored silk saris bound by an ancient technique referred to as "Kantha". To make each accessory, individual saris are cut into strips and hand stitched together with others to create a lovely, patterned pastiche. The swatches are then united with vibrant ticked kantha stitching, a hand-embroidery crafting technique passed down for generations. Each scarf is one of a kind. Handmade in Jaipur, India, from 100% upcycled materials.
