Its lively space-themed design is hand-dyed by Indonesian artisans using the ancient batik technique, in which wax is applied to fabric, the material is dipped in dye, and the wax is removed to reveal an intricate pattern. The comfy cotton kimono has pockets to hold any space junk you may find around the house, and the belt helps keep the universe together. Handmade in Indonesia.

This is my third robe from Uncommon Goods in a month! This one is a little heavier than the Midnight Garden Kimono. It has the same pockets, but the belt is attached in the back. Perffct for lounging on cooler nights (I live in Arizona, so cooler is relative!). Beautiful print. Washes and dries well.

I have been looking for years to find a cotton lightweight robe that packs small for travel. This is perfect in every way. I am wide in the hips (XL) and was really worried about the "one size fits most" but it is generous in width so it will not gap open. The cotton feels soft and will be light enough for hot and humid climes yet cozy enough for cool climes. I'm thrilled with this purchase.
