Fragrant wildflower honey from the Hudson Valley is infused with sea salt to create an addictive meeting of sweet and salt. The unique flavor profile will make your morning oatmeal hum or complement creamy goat cheese toasts, and is simply divine drizzled on scoop of warm fruit cobbler. Handmade in small batches by Casey Elsass and Morgen Newman in Brooklyn, New York.

Casey Elsass is a homemade gourmet and Morgen Newman is an entrepreneur. Togther, they found that the most interesting things come from mixing the unexpected, allowing life (and food) to be even more fascinating. They believe that food can taste extraordinary using only natures' finest ingredients. "I’m proud that our product is sourced from a family-run, chemical-free apiary. Our bees are treated right: only fed honey—never sugar water—and free to roam throughout the Hudson Valley’s landscape," says Casey.

I bought 3, 2 for gifts and one for me to try. I tried it on toast and liked it very much. You need to use a light hand, though. Where I live, honey is very light in color and flavor and this is a dark, strong honey. I plan to try it on ice cream. I will freely admit that I like sea salt on almost everything.
