Rounded Plate grew out of my experience as an occupational therapist and mom to three children. One of our family’s goal is building healthy eating habits. We wanted to shift away from power struggles. Rather than focus on the foods we didn’t want our kids to be eating, we decided to focus on the foods we wanted our kids to be eating more of. Rounded Plate takes a positive approach and engages kids with daily goals so they are motivated to eat more vegetables throughout the day. Rounded Plate has not only helped our family eat more vegetables, but it has also created greater awareness about the foods we are eating. The atmosphere at meals has shifted to be more positive and cooperative. This has been a game changer for our family.
