A Sight to Sea

As a child, Mariel Waddel Hunter would wander the white sand beaches of Trinidad, gazing at the turquoise sea as it rippled and swirled onto shore. Though she's moved many miles away to Canada, she creates a gorgeous ode to her home country with this sculptural bowl. Reminiscent of the shallow pools that collect along the shoreline, the piece is formed by layering hot glass "ripples" around the dome. A dazzling centerpiece on dining tables or just an elegant, everyday fruit bowl, the design makes a lovely gift for lovers of the sea. Handmade in Ontario, Canada.

Due to the handmade nature of this item, each is unique and will vary.
