“We are truly a family business. We get excited about ... encouraging others to use more goods that are reusable.”
Sewing is the literal thread that runs through generations of women in Jennifer Zamudio’s family. Jennifer is one of four children, and her mother made all their baby clothes. Her grandmother tailored suits and other garments. Not surprisingly, Jennifer’s eighth birthday present was a sewing machine, and can remember turning scrap fabric into her own creations. Now, she focuses on products that encourage zero waste living, making eco-friendly kitchen accessories in her studio on the Georgia coast.
