Little River Horse
Hippopotomi would make great pets, if they didn't weigh up to four tons, eat 80 pounds of grass daily, and spend 16 hours a day submerged in large bodies of water. This mini hippo is happy with your backyard garden or entryway, and won't eat a single bite of the small plants or succulents you trust it with.
Brought to life by Kenyan Tom Ateto and his team of artisans using washers, nuts, and other salvaged metal pieces welded together, each "river horse" ("hippopotamus" in Greek) is unique. The open-mouthed charmer can also hold keys inside your entryway, or serve as an eye-catching catchall. Each piece is handcrafted and may vary slightly. Handmade in Nairobi, Kenya.
Due to the recycled and handmade nature of this item, each is unique and will vary.
