The picture of the frame on the site is beautiful, like the artist dusted off and cleaned up a tin roof & made it new again in a wonderful way. The one we received was fairly chipped and roughed up, much more on the "distressed" end of the spectrum than we'd have liked, and certainly much more than the picture represents.

Special gift for a 10th (tin) wedding anniversary
Happy I Am
I have purchased 3 of these picture frames. They just seem to make an ordinary 4x6 photo VERY SPECIAL! I didn't really know that was my goal when I purchased the first one, but it was! I fell in love with that effect, so I purchased 2 others. For me, there is no down-side to this product.
This frame is very nostalgic and classic but will both complement and contrast a modern decor. It can be used to display an old photo, a favorite or unique photo or even a saying that you like. it was much bigger than expected which is a good thing because the only thing not so great about this item was the price. it is true to the photo and has a sturdy contstruction. it's fun to look at and wonder where it came from. very cool frame.

I was pleasantly surprised by the construction of the frame. However, I thought the design in the tin would have had more depth than it does. Perfect for any room!
This made a nice birthday gift for an artsy friend. A tad expensive though, considering it's made of reclaimed ceiling tiles. Overall a cool idea though, and the recipient seemed to like it.
the front metal tile and the back wood frame did not fit together well for optimal photo display -- back is a bit off center which makes photo placement more difficult -- also the cut in the metal for this one is closer to 3x6 rather than 4x6 as advertised -- too bad, I really think it's a clever concept but rather roughly executed
Great idea, frame is solid and painted well. Needs a little extra work. Opening for the picture seems smaller than even 3x5. Edges are a rough, will need some finishing.

We bought the red frame as a 40th Anniversary Gift. The 40th Anniversary is the Ruby anniversary so we wanted an affordable gift that was cool and red. This was perfect.
I used them above windows instead of a valance. Very cute.
