Queen of Quaint
Grandma's doilies are elegant. But after one of your dinner parties: ravaged. These unique coasters have that same old-fashioned charm, but are considerably more durable. Colleen Huth handcrafts the set of four from clay, pressing the tops with pieces of antique lace, and folding the edges to mimic a real piece of cloth. She then paints each with variations of turquoise and cream glazes. When they're kiln-fired, the colors deepen and the finish turns glossy. No two coasters are the same pattern, making them a one-of-a-kind gift for a party hostess, vintage fanatic, or the one whose taste never goes out of style. Handmade in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.
Due to the handmade nature of this item, each is unique and will vary.
