pisa oga espresso mugs - set of 4by Kwok Wai Lau
- the story
Inclined Toward Coffee
Does the world look a little cockeyed without your caffeine fix? These colorful espresso mugs are inclined to agree. Each handcrafted, ceramic mug has a slanted (but stable) base, so it rests on the table at an unexpected tilt. The food-safe glaze drizzles down from the top, leaving unfinished ceramic glaze exposed at the bottom for that just-woke-up spontaneity. There's plenty of room for two shots of espresso and milk. Each is one-of-a-kind and will vary slightly. Handmade by Kwok Wai Lau in Canada.

Kwok Wai Lau
A fan of the British sense of humor, Scottish rainy days, and Montreal's beauty, Kwok Wai Lau seeks to make accessories for the home that encapsulate all three. Whether its his eccentric drain pipe porcelain vase, or drinking mugs that come dressed in their very own sweater-like cozies, Lau injects his designs with unusual characteristics, UK charm, and lots of creativity, all while being quite practical.
