Hoot'a Thunk It?
From designing rooms to dressing them, interior designer Denise Fiedler's attraction to the art of collage began when she stumbled upon a box of vintage books and newsprint in her attic. These ephemeral fragments of literature proved inspirational for Denise, who decided to transform her attic's forgotten library into art.
Denise carefully carves shapely silhouettes from the yellowing pages and she then assembles the cutouts into endearing pastiches that represent familiar objects and animals, like this wide-eyed owl. Day or night, this wise and whimsical portrait is sure to be a hit (and a hoot!) in any room. Handmade in San Francisco, California.
