Margaret Taylor's business of creating artful picture frames, mirrors, furniture, birdhouses, garden and wall art actually began as a hobby. Taylor gained experience and knowledge helping her father on house projects. She was inspired by the fundamental beauty of paint and texture, and she soon gained the confidence and ability to imagine and create anything. Her business, Dryads Dancing, is now in its eleventh year.
Taylor has recently started working with other artists and designers, such as Simone Wilson. The purpose of the business is to make art that is unique, affordable and available.

The design is cool. However, the packaging was terrible. There was little packing material to protect the flower, and the box had not been taped properly, so it was completely open when it arrived. Fortunately, there was not damage done, but it was more luck than anything.

Comments about Oversized Tin Flowers - Sunflower & Zinnia:
I put a great shed in my backyard but it was boring to look at. So I was able to add color which will be there year round. I extened the height by spray painting PVC pipe, sinking that into the ground, hanging the flowers so approx 6 inches of stem was inside the pipe. Then fill the pipe with sand and I have a very secure set of flowers at the different heights I wanted.

Comments about Oversized Tin Flowers - Sunflower & Zinnia:
My mom has been hinting at wanting metal garden flowers to brighten up the garden during the winter for the past few months. I had seen some at art festivals and online, but when I saw these they were literally exactly what I had imagined would be perfect. The price definitely beats the ones I saw at the craft fair and these are much more unique. And they are made from recycled material which is incredible! And to top it off, I was reading another comment that wished they could also be hung as wall art (I was thinking she could hang them on the barn in the summer) and low and behold the flowers have hangers on them and seperate from the stems easily! Perfect and well thought out! Lots of uses inside and out that I can think of. I had to splurge to get all 5 as gifts from all the kids to our mom because I knew I wouldn't come across anything better! I know she will love them! They were also larger than I had imagined which was an added bonus. They are made of various types of metal and will most likely wear a bit being outside in the Western Washington rain, but they already have a vintage look so I don't see a bit of aging as a problem.

I ordered the sunflower for my mother-in-law and she loved it so much she didn't even put it outside - she used it indoors as a decoration!

These were a HUGE hit when I gave them as a gift! Everyone who sees them asks where they came from. The flowers are BIG; they really pop out in the garden and yard. The fact that they're made of recycled materials is great, too.

Bought this as a gift for my Mom. She loved it. Found the mounting a little sparse, as some others had noted, used the wall mount option instead. Generally she was pleased.

I put my flower in my back yard. It looks great, very colorful and I can see it when I drive into my driveway. It istantly brightens my view. We have had some heavy rain and it held up. I like the way you can hang it up or put in on the stake. One recommendation I would make, the hole that the stake slides into should be a bit bigger it took some real pushing to put the flower onto the stake. I love my flower!!
