Take the Scenic Route

Everyone's going to want to come play at your house. All they have to do is figure out how to get past the tollbooth, the poison ivy, an ogre, and a river of lava. No, that doesn’t mean your home is located in the craziest neighborhood ever. It means your family and friends will have all manner of crazy adventures playing this creative game!

Players gather around the table and a Path Card is laid out--each playfully illustrated with some kind of obstacle, from thumbtacks to traffic jams. Players are dealt Tool Cards to help them get past the roadblocks. Tools range from passports and disguises to fish and vacuum cleaners. All Tool Cards are placed face up, and players work together to develop the most fantastically inventive solutions. The open-ended game play will be entertaining for young and old, and develops collaboration and creative problem-solving skills. The sturdy playing cards are printed with soy-based inks on 90% recycled greyboard, and their glossy surface can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. Recipient of a 2011 Oppenheim Group Platinum Award. Made in China.

      Comments about Obstacles Game:

This game is a gift for my five year old niece. I can't wait to give it to her so we can start playing it. I know she's going to love it.
