I became fascinated with the crystalline realm at a very young age. My childhood fascination was the "vein" of crystals in the forest near my home in Pennsylvania's Pocono mountains. I knew I wanted to spend my life working with these amazing models of perfection created by nature. When I was 18 I started my career as a jewelry designer and craftsman, and my focus has consistently been on going where no one else has gone, pushing the limits and allowing my creativity to take the wheel. When I bought a bag of tumbled stone chips and found one to be shaped just like a guitar pick, the wheels in my head started turning, I knew I was on to something. But the polished rounded edge slid of the guitar strings in an awkward way, there was no precision control. So I took it to the grinding wheel and after experimenting with various different materials and designs, I eventually honed in on my hallmark design, a carefully shaped pick with just the right contour that allows for precision picking.

I am so disappointed that I'll need to return this. It is so small, and not at all shaped like a guitar pick. It's not at all like what's shown on the images.

Wouldn't buy ever again.

The obsidian has a nice finish but at the end where you pick is sanded down and produces a scraping sound on the string not giving you a clear clean sound from your guitar it's also not the correct size or even remotely close to the picture.

Too Small

Its beautiful and seems well crafted but is more of a collection, it is too small to play guitar with unless for a child.

Not impressed

I don't know what my son thought about it but I wasn't impressed. It barely even looked like a guitar pick. Nothing like the photo. I was excited to give him a unique gift and I actually had to tell him what it was. Somebody should look at each item before shipping them. Very disappointed.

Not being a musician myself I can only attest to the look of the product which was just as pictured. Nice workmanship

Really small and not nearmy as nice as the picture! I paid $7 extra for a beat up gift box and note that looks awful. I want my money back

Thanks for getting me high "cool aunt" praise from the teens in the extended family. One nephew even made his into a necklace between jam sessions.

Rock On!

This pick was purchased as a gift for someone else who appreciated the unusual craftsmanship. A great idea to use obsidian as the material for the pick! It seemed to be on the small side however...just a little bigger would've been better.

It is a fun unique gift

Made the top three gift for Christmas 2015!
