“Whenever someone is touched by one of my creations, it’s like a gift and it drives me to go even further.”
For as long as she can remember, Marylène Chauveau has been fascinated by three things: Color, light, and nature. Growing up in the countryside of Quebec with its rolling hills and lush greenery, it wasn’t difficult to stay inspired by these things. When she was a bit older, Marylène visited a friend’s studio where she discovered the beauty and diversity of glass art. She promised herself that one day, she’d express her creativity through glass.
In 2004, she achieved her dream by opening her own studio, and dedicating her life to art. Her inspiration still comes from nature and color, but she also surrounds herself with other artists, musicians, photographers, and sculptors who push her to new creative heights. Now, Marylène shares her one-of-a-kind, contemporary creations like the Night Sky Mobile so that we can delight in the same luminous color that inspires her.
