Fusion Reactor

Inspired by her mother's mid-'60s "tablescapes," Suellen Parker crafts her glass serving bowls with bold, modern flair. She creates these unique pieces by fusing glass sections carefully selected for their shape and color. Using diamond-edged etching tools, Suellen cuts each colorful piece, layers them in a creatively orchestrated composition, and fuses them together at high temperatures. Using a mold, she shapes the layered glass into a broad bowl that makes a stunning centerpiece with an assortment or fruit or all by itself. These functional works of art make unforgettable wedding gifts or transformative touches for your decor. Handmade in Flint, Michigan.

Due to the handmade nature of this item, each is unique and will vary.

When not working with glass, she enjoys spending time at her family's cottage on Case Island in the middle lake Fenton in Michigan.
