I had such hopes for this mug. The first mug purchased had a manufacture flaw in the tea bag holder/lid. I contacted the company and it was promptly replaced with an entirely new mug. I have washed both mugs by hand and have had them less than two weeks and now the glaze has cracked throughout the inside of the mugs. I am extremely disappointed. I purchased the mug for my tea. I have treated both mugs as if they were fine china - no microwave, no dishwasher and now this. And less than two weeks of use. For the price I paid I could have bought four mugs elsewhere. Very very disappointed. Beware this mug is not something that will last.
Disappointed tea drinker
I wish it came with an extra top for the cup in case I broke or lose the top. It is an expensive cup and either it needs to come with an extra top or an opportunity to purchase an extra top. It is just a great product and I'd hate to not use it because of a lost/broken top. Please consider this request at least for purchasing extra tops.
Nana loves her cup of tea

Daughter in law should really enjoy this mug. She has been using a saucer to try and keep her tea warm.
This is a gift for my college-age daughter. She was really thrilled with it. She loves hand made mugs and thought this was just a really well made and very clever idea.
Very nice cup. I got this as a present for my mother to replace another yellow stoneware cup that broke. This one has an interesting shape (it's taller than it looks) and the teabag holder is a cute idea. I do wish it came in other colors - yes, this was to replace a yellow cup, but not everyone likes yellow, and it might show stains eventually. Color aside, though, it seemed well made and quite usable.
