With Craighton Berman's elegant glass coffeemaker, brewing coffee becomes a meditation during those drowsy, pre-caffeine morning moments—that ends when you sip the finished product. With this sculptural, handmade glass brewer, Craighton has re-imagined the form of pour over coffee brewing.
The process remains familiar: Gradually pour hot water through fresh-ground coffee, and the precious hot liquid slowly drips into the transparent carafe, or even directly into your mug. The glass cover acts as a cloche to retain heat. You don't need a brewing scale, because the carafe is marked with measurements to accurately gauge the volume of brewed coffee, as well as marked "zones" to help assist in more intuitive brewing. Your morning coffee ritual is now less fiddly and more beautiful, with ridiculously delicious results. A pack of filters is included. Designed in Chicago. Made in China.
