The Birds & The Bees

Cozy post-war nest. Lots of natural wood and views of the park. Taking their cues from the modular geometry of beehives, these hexagonal house and feeder units offer modern accommodations for birds. The natural, nestable pine plywood units connect simply with gravity and the tension of the included hanging ribbon. Create your own configuration of multiple houses and feeders to build a bird community that helps hatchlings thrive. Add a small branch to provide a familiar perch and protect the pine with varnish before inviting your feathered friends to move in. Made in Barcelona, Spain.

Comments about UncommonGoods Modular Birdhouse and Feeder:

I picked this out for my mom for Mother's Day. She already has several bird feeders and loves watching the birds flit around in the yard. There's also a robin couple that returns to the house every year to lay their eggs, so this was a perfect choice for her. I loved the sleek, modern, minimalistic look; it's not overbearing to add to any outdoor area. Plus, it was incredibly easy to setup. She also loved finding just the right stick for the perch. She's excited for a little bird to make it its home. The only concern we have is if it can withstand the high Oklahoma winds we get. Don't want to blow those little birds out!
