This was a gift for my mom, a book and tea-light lover, so it was a perfect combination! She had asked for scented tea candles for Christmas, so it became even better. The tea lights are small, as they tend to be, and the scents are pleasant, if sometimes difficult to identify. A small card insert explaining scents and themes (i.e., which book a candle is inspired by) would be a welcome addition.
These are OK. The scents don't seem to be naturally derived. They're kind of artificial smelling but not terrible. Cute stocking stuffwr.
This is a gift, which from what I was told, if used sparingly, when you really "need" it like when you need a little something extra when reading a book, you will utterly fall in love!!!
As I mentioned above, these were given out as part of a favor bag at our 100th birthday gala. We fell in love with the literary tie-in and know our guests will too!
Unique gift for a bookworm
These are being used as gifts for a book club group. They will be placed individually in a glass votive with holiday ribbon and be added to a gift bag.
The scent names are clever and fun for literature lovers/readers. The scents are divine and each is a bit different from the other, so the diversity is a treat and each is a small "surprise." They are packaged together in a hard plastic sleeve, so wrapping is quick and easy if this a gift; it's hard to beat this as a stocking stuffer or secret santa gift. Now for the only downside: these are tealights and I wanted more more more! As tealights they were gone long before I was ready as I was just getting started on something I loved. Are these available as large (3") votives or full-size, full-scent-throw candles? Yes, Please!
