Table for Two

Is your little pumpkin unwilling to taste a bite of squash? Your sweetie pie turning up his nose at shepherd's pie? A cute and courageous friend like Milton might just help them open up to new tastes. Children offer him a bite of food, and he always accepts it with a wide open smile. He's made from flexible, food-grade silicone, so kids can even have fun making him chew. And if Milton likes it, well, broccoli just doesn't seem so scary any more. He comes with instructions in the form of an adorable storybook including his origin story, how he helps at mealtime, and parenting tips. Designed by dads Dan Rennecker and Justin Peart, and endorsed by a speech pathologist and a pediatric feeding specialist, Milton can help promote positive eating habits as well as reduce the stress of having a picky eater at the table. He can even be used to help teach how to use utensils and brush teeth. Made in Albany, New York.

Milton's makers donate a portion of proceeds to Feed My Starving Children, an organization that helps fight child hunger.

Milton was designed and created by two dads looking for a fun and truly helpful way to encourage their little ones to try new foods. All parents of young children know that meal time can become challenging and stressful, so Dan and Justin decided to do something about it. Using what they knew from their careers in consumer product design and learning the rest as they went, they developed Milton from the ground up. Some of the first Miltons made were casted in silicone using a 3D printed mold they designed in one of their garages. Creating the original story for the Meet Milton children's book was one of the most challenging yet rewarding parts of the journey toward launching Milton.

The product is well designed. The story and little 'alien' are very good.. but it didn't keep my 6 yr old son engaged long enough.. I can see where my needs and this product aren't a match ONLY because... seriously at this point I need an actual Spider-Man or the robots from the movie Pacific Rim to come and impress him to eat foods outside of his big 3..ugh.

Picky eater actually trying food!

We bought our Milton because of a friend's recommendation and we are incredibly happy we did. Our daughter Sydney gets so excited for mealtime now, almost a little toomuch! She loves his story from the book and immediately gained a friend after reading it with us. She loves taking Milton when we go out to eat as well. Overall very happy wiht this purchase and the fact that some of the proceeds go to a children's charity is just icing on the cake.

So helpful for our picky eater at home!

Our 3 y.o. daughter has become somewhat of a picky eater, especially when it comes to vegetables. Heard about Milton on social media and decided it was worth a glad I did. She loves telling Milton about the new foods they are going to try (including vegetables!) and then taking turns trying them at the meal. The book that came with Milton is so cute and part of our nightly routine.
