metallic stoneware cups - set of 4$30.00
- the story
Set in Stone
When you can't go to the East, these handmade stoneware cups will bring the East to you. Modeled after traditional Japanese beer tumblers, the cups' smaller size invites hosts to refill the glasses of their guests, friends, and loved ones, a customary sign of hospitality. After the glasses are cast and cleaned, they get hand-dipped in glaze and then fired in a tunnel kiln. The final products boast a delicate metallic shine and a slight wavy texture created naturally by the wind. Whether they're holding water, beer or, every sushi lover's favorite spirit, sake, these handmade tumblers will take you on a trip to Japan, one sip at a time. Made in Japan.
