Ola & Johan Mork
Two of seven siblings, Ola and Johan Mork grew up in a creative family Stockholm, Sweden. Their mom is a textile designer and their dad is a film director, so it isn’t surprising that the two brothers have always added our personal touch to films, advertising, and clothes.
One day, while getting dressed, Ola realized there were only two mismatched socks left in his closet. Everyone commented on the fashion choice, and from there he began to create stylish, colorful socks inspired by their parents' art books. Just as they were inspired by Picasso and Miro, they thought others might be, too.
They searched for a Swedish sock manufacturer and found an 80-year-old, family owned-business in the south of Sweden. Inspired by Ola and Johan’s sketches, the knitters got to work. It was love at first pair, and they’ve been collaborating ever since.
