In Good Hands
What if you had a simple way to make your skin feel luxuriously smooth and nourished? What if you knew it was made from all-natural, organic and Fair Trade ingredients? What if it was so back-to-basics simple that you could make it yourself?
This indulgent DIY set from Stacy Anderson transforms skin care into a truly hands-on experience. It helps you to create hard lotion, which can be rubbed on dry skin to form a thin, moisturizing and protecting layer. The stylish box set comes with the essential ingredients--beeswax, Shea butter and unrefined coconut oil--along with crimped paper molds and a tin for holding your finished bar. The kit offers a fun way to treat yourself, or makes a thoughtful gift for treasured friends, new moms, co-workers and more. Kit assembled and packaged in Santa Ana, California.
Why Hard Lotion?
Beeswax, a primary ingredient in hard lotion, has a high melting temperature that creates a hardness when melted and mixed with other additives. It takes 30 seconds longer to apply (the bar warms and absorbs into your skin as you rub it), but the need to reapply is much less frequent when compared with pump lotions. The hard lotion bar contains no water, which can actually dry your skin, and is free of harsh preservatives and fragrances.
