Hey, to the person in the comments below (or to anyone else who had trouble getting it to work): You're right, it does not stick to the stainless steel sink; it STICKS TO ITSELF. If you still have it, all you have to do is take the backing magnet under and behind the sink, so that the side of the sink is sandwiched between it and the other half (the magnet with the dishcloth holder-arm). That is, there are two magnets in the set, and they stick to each other, on either side of the sink, inside (with the cloth) and outside (under the cabinet). Hope this helps. We love it!

Worked perfectly on my stainless steel sink. With a magnet on either side of the sink, your sink doesn't need to be magnetic for this to work. I love that it keeps the dishcloth out of sight, but still allows it to dry out. The only limitation may be in accessing the underside of your sink to place the second magnet that keeps the holder in place. Though I can't imagine this would be a common problem. Great product!
I ordered two. One for my Winter Home and one for my "real" home. Keeps dishcloth off the faucet and still handy.
Love the product , thank uncommongoods for carrying such a useful and sanitary tool in the kitchen!
After replacing our sink with a large, single holed sink, we had no place to put our washcloth other than over the faucet, which I didn't like. This has been the perfect solution. It is easily removed if you are processing something in the sink. A very good idea and it works great!
