Cute, but quality issues

My daughter was really excited to do this puzzle when she received it today for Christmas. And while the puzzle is super cute and the lenticular aspect adds a fun element, several of the pieces were warped and even peeling. She was still able to complete the puzzle, but the points of the warped pieces poked up awkwardly. It definitely looked more like a heavily-used puzzle, not a brand new Christmas gift.

Magical puzzle delighted my unicorn-crazy kid!

We love doing puzzles and my kiddo is pretty great at putting them together herself. The way this puzzle image moves as a lenticular puzzle is what makes it so enchanting, but it was also harder for her to match pieces together without help from an adult. That said, the image is beautiful and it's not too many pieces.
