I had been hunting for a gift for my husband for our Anniversary, it was our 7th so I was looking at copper items. When I came across this box I knew it was the perfect gift. My husband loves boxes, our Anniversary was on 7/11, so I thought the 4-leaf clover represented that. Perfect! He loves it!
It's a gift
If both boxes were sold as a pair for the same price they are individually, then I would probably recommend this product. However, the cheap felt lining with shoddy edges was barely attached inside either box and all finished edges suggested more of a mass production, with lack of care and attention to detail, rather than hand craftsmanship. The artist/product info card (a crookedly xeroxed folded piece of paper) left much to be desired and I was almost embarrassed to include it in the box when I gave these as a wedding gift.

This is a really nice, very well-made box. I just think you need to read the description very carefully before you purchase it. The description wording is carefully written and is perfect. The picture is a little misleading. The box is very* nice, and the person I gave it to absolutely loved it (a lot more than I did- which is, I guess, what counts!).
I am undecided if I am going to keep this item. The beads are pretty and I love the idea...BUT The corners are sharp on the lid and there are not so pretty welding marks inside. While the idea is unique, and the beads are pretty, my hearts inside have small scratches on them. Keep in mind it is made on hand-run machinery from the 1800's and honestly, it looks like something my son could make in welding class without the beads. If you don't mind the welding marks, I guess it is okay. It's just an expensive piece for what you get. The catalog pic is much richer in color and prettier in my opinion. I just don't think it is worth almost 90.00 [...].
While the actual box was smaller than I had anticipated, it is truly unique. The craftmanship is obvious and the cover is just exquisite! This would make a fabulous gift. I purchased mine to use as my feng shui "Helpful People box." WAY cool!

Purchased this as a gift. Pay attention to the dimensions since it was a little smaller than I thought it would be. The floating hearts are a beautiful irredescent red. I would have liked it even more at a price point of 50 to 60 dollars. But overall, I'm happy with it and hope my step-mother likes it.
Lovely, unique box that will make a wonderful gift for my daughter who likes things that don't look ordinary or mass-produced. She'll probably use it to hold rings, change or other little things. The only down side is that it's very expensive.I would tend to by more from your catalog if prices weren't so high.

Perfect 7th anniversary gift for a copper item. It's actually much prettier than the picture. The glass and silver beads and red hearts move around in the cover and catch the light. My hubby loves it! I filled it with "love rocks" I found on another website with romantic sayings on them. It's just a little smaller than I expected and wanted.
