I bought this as a gift for my brother-in-law, a true rock and roll lover. Whatever the music genre, this unique frame is perfect for the generation(s) that listened to music on LP's. And I hear they are making a comeback for the younger generation. My brother-in-law put a photo of The Everly Brothers in it because they kicked off his love of early Rock and Roll. It could be used to "jazz" up one's desk or at home for a more interesting look rather than the usual rectangle or square shaped frame. He loved it!

I bought this for an uncle who is a musician and LP enthusiast. I loved the idea of an LP frame. The frame itself is much smaller and more flimsy than I was expecting though. The backing was glued on slightly askew so that you could see it sticking out from the frame on one side. If you use a 4x6 picture, it will be slightly too short on the top and bottom so the backing shows through. Be sure to find a picture where the individuals are centered in the picture. Overall, it’s a good, unique gift for music lovers but based on the construction quality I wish I would have paid about $10 less for it.

Comments about UncommonGoods LP Record Frame:

I received the first frame, and the plastic to the frame was glued crooked into the frame, making it so the plastic would not even cover the photo. The record piece was also coming unglued from the actual frame. I called customer service, they were fantastic, sent me a new frame at no cost to me!
The second frame was a little better. The plastic was glued in straight, but again, the record is coming unglued from the actual frame.
The idea of this is cool, but overall I'm very disappointed in the quality of the product.

        Service and delivery comments:

Customer service was fantastic! Delivery was fast. No issues with Uncommon Goods, just an issue with the actual product.

Comments about UncommonGoods LP Record Frame:

Even though the size was noted, because it looked bigger in the photo I thought it was bigger. Offering a larger size would be nice. It should be wrapped better for shipping. Mine had several scratches on it. I was able to buff them so they weren't as noticeable.

Comments about UncommonGoods LP Record Frame:

The construction of this product was extremely poor. Smaller than advertised, the LP edges were sharp and it was glued to the cheapo picture frame backing crookedly. Rocks when it stands up as a result. Don't pay for something you could create yourself for $2 in thrift store materials!

I gave it to my guy friend as a thinking of you gift, with a picture of us attending a Stevie Wonder concert. He loved it. I thought that it was beautifully packaged and it arrived quickly however it looks and feels flimsy. However it is a great thinking of you gift.

Since the frame is a record, the surface scratches easily. Better packaging for shipping would've prevented the multiple scratches on the gift I was giving to my father-in-law.
