Tea and Sustainability
Tea and lemon are old familiars, but the way Taras Absolfathi pairs them is new to us. He stuffs traditional black Chinese loose-leaf tea inside Eureka lemon peels from California. The sweet, tangy "packaging" infuses each brew with flavor. Delicious hot or iced, they're healthy too—no artificial chemicals or bleached paper bag. A convenient, zero-waste beverage that’s easy to enjoy on the go, each tea ball is equal to about five or six conventional tea bags, and can be re-steeped. We would say it’s just our cup of tea, but we wouldn’t make such an obvious joke for all the tea in China.
