Lady In Red

Beetles and flies will flap to any old house, but if you really want to please a ladybug, you'll need to present her with quarters fit for a queen. Welcome your favorite polka-dotted beauties into your garden with this whimsical house that's made to host a princess properly. As charming as a toadstool sprouting up in a children's book, this adorable tower is hand-sculpted and painted and features tiny windows for lovely ladybugs to flutter in and out. You'll encourage these enchanting creatures to stay in your garden by providing them this safe haven where they can lay their eggs and go through metamorphosis during the coldest months. Handmade by Jo-Anne & Gerald Warren in Canada.

As I indicated in "cons" the roof does not sit securely and I am concerned that it may not stay on. It is, however, very cute and I'm looking forward to seeing if it actually works to keep aphids away from my roses.

Very happy with this adorable gift for my Mom who loves ladybugs. It is unique and very well made and a great size...not too small or too big. I cannot speak to its efficiency at attracting ladybugs as I have not gifted it yet. I was very excited to find this great gift at a reasonable price.

                  Comments about UncommonGoods Ladybug Castle:

My mother in law has a beautiful garden that she tends to throughout the year. She also has some very tasteful garden ornaments and likes to attract ladybugs. I thought this would be a fun addition to her garden and she seemed very pleased. When I offered her the gift receipt, she adamantly declined stating that she loved it and couldn't wait to put it outside this spring.
