I didn't kill it!
I waited a bit before posting review. I am notoriously bad at plants, which is sad because I want a green thumb so bad. This is so easy to care for I didn't manage to kill it. I just followed their instructions. I do have to water weekly because my apartment is so dry. It is also small enough to fit on a desk or counter in NYC apartment and still look cute. I'm beyond happy with this purchase.

Simply Beautiful
This plant is simply beautiful. The instructions to care for the plant are very simple as well. It came perfectly packaged and was easy to unbox. Once unboxed, I immediately followed the watering directions and placed her on display on my kitchen counter. I love that this plant is perfect for beginners and, in my opinion, non-green thumb approved. You simply follow the watering instructions when the plant feels dry and or light.

Unique
This is such a neat way of displaying a plant and it's very easy to take care of. The instructions came with it on how to take care of it and so far it's doing great. I think I will have to take a look at her other plants for sale.

Do you repot it in a standard pot when it grows too large for the ball?
Verified reply from Allison
A Kokedama plant will outgrow its moss ball in 1-3 years. At that time, you can either trim the roots or rewrap your plant by unwrapping the moss, add more nutrient-rich soil, then wrap in fresh moss. Moss can be found at your local nursery and online.

What is the approximate diameter of the moss ball?
Verified reply from Michael
The root ball diameter would be about half the height. So if the plant is 12" the diameter of the root ball would be about 6". But really it depends on the exact plant's root structure & 1" variation

What is the diameter of the saucer.
Verified reply from Allison
A saucer is not included. The maker recommends to carefully remove the packaging around the plant before pulling the plant out of the box. Then, remove the Moss Ball's plastic covering immediately. They recommend that it be placed on a plate, saucer or within a bowl.
