My husband loved this as a gifta We thought it would be something fun that we could do together, and my husband loves cheese! We did have fun making it and no expert skills are required. However, we noticed that the instruction booklet and the YouTube video that they recommend have slightly different instructions. It didn't seem to make too much of a difference, but our end product was not perfect, so it may have been from some of the confusion.
We found ourselves having to read some of the instructions multiple times to make sure we understood them.

I purchased this gift to include in my husbands gift bag for Valentines Day. He loves to cook and loves cheese so I thought this would be perfect. It went over well and he was excited to try making the cheese. He chose the mozzarella cheese to make first. First of all you need milk that isn't pasteurized, and is not homogenized. This milk is not easy to find. We found a half gallon at a local health food store after looking at several grocery stores. We followed the recipe exactly and even watched videos online however the cheese would not set up at all. We tried this 2 times with different brands of milk and both times failed.

This is a cute gift, but since it does not work as intended it is worthless.

Save your money and get something else.
