I read the books to the child friend, then allow him to place it in his mouth and toss it around.

Good baby gift.
New York, NY
When I first received this I was afraid of letting the kids hold them because it seemed like it would tear apart so easily. The kids loved the colors and the baby faces and the little stories though, so we kept coming back to them. I was so suprised what a beating these things can take! The kids couldn't rip them apart if they tried and they would even bite them and gum them up with spit. No damage at all. Their thin size makes them easy to shove in a diaper bag so we have a bunch of options to choose from when they need a distraction. Cannot recommend them enough and I love to give them for baby showers.
The catalog made this book set look beautiful and a perfect shower gift for a couple that does not know the sex of their unborn child. When I got the package, it looked like a comic book or two wrapped up in cellophane. Four books were no more than one inch thick. And way too expensive for what was purchased. First disappointing product I have purchased from Uncommongoods.

I bought this for my son, who sticks everything in his mouth! He loves them because of the pretty pictures and I love them because I dont worry he'll bite off the pages and swallow the paper.
