Hop To It

Play a classic game of hopscotch even on the rainiest of days with this plush and charming throw rug by Cecilia Diaz & Andrea Segovia. Hand woven on a pedestal loom from 100% fine Guatemalan wool, this high pile, shag-inspired rug is made by a group of talented artisans in the western highlands of Guatemala. An included polished pumice stone lets little ones play the game, while the gorgeous craftsmanship makes this a sweet addition to a playroom or nursery.

    Comments about UncommonGoods Hopscotch Rug:

I love the whimsical and nostalgic aspect of this rug. It's being used as a runner on the landing at top of stairs, leading to a loft game room. I made a personal "rule" that I have to hopscotch across it when passing from room to room. The first time I did this unexpectantly in front of a guest, it elicited a great response and participation.

It comes with a drawstring bag holding a large pumice stone, to actually PLAY a game of hopscotch.

    Comments about UncommonGoods Hopscotch Rug:

This is a fun, whimsical rug that comes exactly as pictured. If I could do anything to improve it, I'd add a rubber backing so that it would stay in place on my hardwood floor - but that's easy enough to fix with the rug grippers sold in many stores. I smile whenever I look at this and get lots of compliments on it!
