Up in Smoke

Max Blackman and Kyle Paine's extra virgin olive oil gets its smoldering taste from cold-smoking hickory, a unique process that creates an intense flavor that retains all of the healthy fat's chemical and nutritional properties. The result is a rich oil laced with smoke and with a peppery finish. Drizzle it over dishes to add a kick to grilled veggies, hummus, seitan steaks, or crispy strips of tempeh bacon.
