Two Hearts Beat as One
Fall for the handmade charm of this Venn diagram-inspired linocut print by Matt Butler. The design was inspired by Matt's time spent teaching fifth grade Math, when he realized that two interlocking hearts made for a pretty nice Venn diagram. These interlocking hearts are cut by hand from a linoleum block using tools that Matt inherited from his grandfather, then printed in a hand-cranked press to produce a tactile impression in the cotton rag paper. Each print is numbered and signed by the artist. Handmade in Berkeley, California.
