Absolutely love these mugs, but love older version even more

These are fabulous mugs! Beautiful, practical, unique ... and they feel great in your hand. If you use a single-serving k-cup "pod" type coffee maker, one pod brewed on the "medium" cup setting barely fills half of one of these mugs, but that's just a good excuse for having a double portion of joe. Similarly, it would be nice to be able to pop these into the dishwasher, but you know what? It's really not a big deal to wash a coffee mug! These mugs used to be made with "drips" of glaze falling from the contrasting-color band at the top of each mug. It made each mug look truly unique -- even two mugs of the same color look appreciably different. In seeking out that older style, I also discovered the potter creates these mugs in more than four colors / more than four mineral stones. and with the option of pairing any mineral with any color mug. Ideally, the older style, expanded color pallet, and mix/match stone option would be offered here. I'd definitely supplement my collection! Buy one, or do what I did: Buy a multi-colored collection and keep them on a mug tree on your kitchen counter. I like to think that having the stones out in the open and being near them so frequently imbues us with all of the properties they offer. At the very least, they make me smile ... and we can all use more of that!

Enjoying these mugs

Did notice one mugs is a little smaller than the other even though listed with same volume. Assume that's due to the fact are individually hand made. Not an issue though.

i like the bowls isee 4 sale in portsmoith

The website did not seem to have all the items available by this artist I was in Portsmouth and noticed that a retailer was selling the mugs with their accompanying bowl. I would have liked that also is a stylish logs that go well in my kitchen and are great for gifts

Simply lovely

My sister had a set of these mugs, and I enjoyed their look, feel, sensibility when I visited her home. Decided I needed a set too! They are unique, well-made mugs. I like the use of the stone on the handle, and the significance of these to the artist, and now to me.

Friends & family LOVE this gift!

Everyone can use this healing mug with crystal for support, whether for physical or emotional support. Beautiful pottery! Beautiful glaze with meaningful crystals placed on the handle right where your thumb holds the cup. Love them & so do my gift recipients!

We're very sorry that your mug has broken but so very happy your purchased a few more. The artist now makes the design that we have on our site.

Hello, I just bought one of your mugs! Love it so much. I was wondering, what specific type of adhesive do you use to attach the stone onto the handle of the mug? Thank you! Joanna

A regular epoxy glue would be just fine!

Greetings! We apologize to hear that your blue healing mug is fading; it's possible that the paint on this mug may have a slight defect in the coloring…this is not common with this item. However, we'd love to assist you with a replacement mug at no additional costs to you. Please contact us at (888) 365-0056 for more details. We look forward to hearing from you. Thanks for shopping with us and Happy Holidays!

Have these mugs now been certified as Microwaveable? I see some yes and no answers within the Q&A. Older answers say no, newer answers say yes. Please clarify. Thank you

Verified reply from Michelle

Yes, these mugs are now microwave safe.

I see that it says the mug is microwave safe in some reviews and others say it's not . When you visited there you also said it wasn't and the ppl who make them says it is . So I would like the correct answer since I would be warming water up in it inside a microwave Thank you !πŸ˜ƒ

Greetings! Thanks for your question. Please be assured that the UncommonGoods Healing Stone Mugs are microwave and dishwasher safe. Enjoy.

What are the healing powers of each stone and Mug color? The description notes got all mixed up when we opened the gift.

Verified reply from Valerie

Blue Mug: Clear Quartz, a popular healing crystal, is considered to be the master healer, aiding many areas of the body. Red Mug: Tiger's Eye/Cat's Eye aids in focusing the mind and is used in meditation. Purple Mug: Rose Quartz, the important crystal for the heart chakra and is the unconditional love stone. Dark Brown Mug: Citrine, the stone of regenerating, raises self-confidence and is also known as the financial prosperity stone.

It is almost impossible to tell which mug is which color. I wish they were listed separately. I know which one I want, but I can't tell if it's the "blue" or "purple" same goes for the "red" vs "brown." Is the "purple" the lighter or darker mug pictured?

Verified reply from Valerie

The mugs pictured are, from left to right, blue, red, purple, and dark brown.

Could you describe the thickness & weight of these mugs?

Verified reply from Valerie

These mugs are approximately 1/4" thick, and they weigh just over a pound.

Does the person who gets this as a gift receive an insert explaining about the healing properties of the stone?

Verified reply from Marisa

Yes, they do.

Is there any chance of getting larger mugs - say 18-20 oz?

Verified reply from Colleen

These mugs are only available in the 14 oz size.
