If there's a heaven, we bet it's a lot like the organic family farm where the Rembe family grows the lavender for these intensely fragrant body care products. The 10,000-foot Sandia mountains form a backdrop to 25 acres of hand-tended lavender fields and lush gardens. Armin (Grandpa) invented the steam distiller that extracts the lavender oil. Matthew (Dad) runs the business. The grandkids drive tractors, work in the gardens, and help hand wrap the soap. Penny Rembe (Grandma) created the salve recipe that's still hand-poured from the 1934 Garland stoves once a week, and the lotion and hand soap are made locally, in small batches. The set includes all of these, plus a sachet of lavender buds with the smell of heaven. Handmade in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
