Comments about UncommonGoods Hand Carved Artisan Jewelry Box:

I am very disappointed with this product. When you order something without seeing it in person, you need to trust that you will get a product that any reasonable person would not reject as defective if examined in person. This box was very poorly constructed-- the seams didn't even come close to matching up on the corners. This is not a "rustic" or "distressed" look-- it's rather an "ineptly made" look. On top of that, within seconds of handling the box, 2 pieces of wood on the lid simply fell off as though they'd never even been attached. I can't tell if they were meant to be glued and hadn't been, or if the poorly matched pieces caused the intended joins to simply fail. This was meant to be part of a gift and now I have to take the time to return this and find something else to replace it.

      Service and delivery comments:

I'm very disappointed that there is a complete lack of quality control. Anybody handling this product would have realized that it was defective before even sending it out. I feel taken advantage of, as I never would have purchased this if I'd seen the condition of the item in person.
