Keep Cool

Fire and ice come together in this handcrafted pitcher from glass blowing masters Eben Horton and Jennifer Nauck. The fire comes in the form of intense heat and molten glass, which they shape with traditional, Old World craftsmanship. The glass is decorated with a flurry of white flecks and deep blue swirls, which evoke the bubbles and cracks found in ancient glacier ice. The pitcher is sturdy enough to be a mealtime staple, but so beautiful that it will make an impression when guests come for dinner. Handcrafted in Wakefield, Rhode Island.

Pair your Glacier Pitcher with our Glacier Glasses - Set of 4.

Due to the handmade nature of this item, each is unique and will vary.

Rhode Island

Eben Horton and Jennifer Nauck have been blowing glass for a combined 42 years, five of which have been together at their studio in Wakefield, Rhode Island. Eben first blew glass in high school in Newport, RI. He then went on to study classical methods of glass blowing at the School for American Crafts at RIT in Rochester, NY, as well as at the Penland School of Crafts, the Corning Museum of Glass, and Urban Glass. He opened his studio, in 2000.

Jennifer began blowing glass in the mountains of Estes Park, Colorado. Mostly self-taught, she was often turned loose in the studio after hours with a project that she would figure out how to make. Together they bring a combination of technical skill and unfettered creativity to the hot shop that informs their unique designs. When they’re not blowing glass they’re likely sailing, snorkeling, fishing, hiking and growing food.
