Write From the Heart
It's amazing how communication has become both easier than ever, and completely disposable. Emails and text messages are forgotten almost as soon as they're sent.
Instead, why not take a moment to slow down and create something meaningful with someone you care about? These beautiful letter journals will help you to share your heart with a loved one while creating a lasting commemoration of your relationship.
Artist Whitney Scott Biggs's life was turned upside-down when her mother died suddenly from cancer while Biggs was pregnant with her first child. Going through her mother's desk, she discovered scribbled lists and notes handwritten tidbits that became her treasured keepsakes. With her friends Sabra Miller and Janice Maples, she created these letter journals as a way for others to connect with and remember each other in a profound way.
These journals come in a paired set one for you, and one for your loved one. Also included are 40 sets of cards and envelopes, with prompts for sharing your dreams or special memories. Those notes then become part of the books, tucked into the little pockets and lift-up flaps within their pages. Postage not included. Made in China.

When faced with the untimely death of her mother to cancer, and then a bout with the disease herself, Whitney Biggs realized that her small children would grow up not knowing their grandmother or, possibly, even herself. Gathering the little notes and lists she found in her mother's desk, Biggs decided to make sure her young ones would have something to remember her by in the event of a tragedy, and that others everywhere could do the same. Treasured Passages is a collection of letter books for people of all walks of life: mothers, daughters, sisters, friends and couples. They were created to fill a void when instant communication isn't possible, and to serve as treasured keepsakes to pass down through the generations. Biggs and her partners, Sabra Miller and Janice Maples, believe chronicled memories are the best gifts you can give your loved ones, and that saying "yes to life" and taking pleasure in the little things is the way to be. collection
