“I never really visualized myself as an artist; I saw a problem and just wanted to work on a solution.”
Carter Kostler was concerned about the amount of sugary drinks his family was consuming. So the enterprising teen created a double-chambered bottle to enjoy healthy, infused water. His design was recognized by Michelle Obama's End Childhood Obesity Innovation Challenge, and his mission to stamp out obesity and type 2 diabetes has been featured in multiple health and wellness publications, including Forbes and Fortune. Carter donates a portion of his profits to Alliance for a Healthier Generation, and he is also active in his Virginia Beach community, working with schools and organizations such as the American Diabetes Association.
