Be careful, beta fish are notorious jumpers.

This fishbowl isn't very safe for beta fish, they jump a lot and this bowl is very open up top. Hurts to find your fish on the table or floor.

Cute idea, but needs work

We purchased this for our daughter. We think that the fish pool idea is cute (and she loves it!), however, this product needs some work. The space / gap on which the diving board and ladder sits on the edge of the "pool" is uneven and does not balance on the pool well, which makes the diving board tip into the pool / water. This was easily fixed by putting a small piece of cardboard in between the glass and the ladder; however, this seemed a bit ridiculous based on the price point. If they made the gap smaller, it would sit nicely on the glass rim without an awkward piece of cardboard put in there to steady it.
