Comments about UncommonGoods Field Guide to North American Bird Feathers:

Item is much smaller than image shown on website and is overpriced for what I received. I paid $25 extra in shipping costs to have it arrive for my dad's birthday and it was three days late. I believe I deserve a credit from this company for failing to deliver it on time and because I paid so much and it was late!!
I am very dissatisfied with my service and product from this company at this time although I have had other previous positive experiences.
I will need some reimbursement in order to continue to be a customer of UncommonGoods.

Comments about UncommonGoods Field Guide to North American Bird Feathers:

I had this on my wish list, and received it as a gift. It's not what I hoped. My disappointment probably has its source in my own failure to imagine the finished work. The feathers are beautifully rendered, but each is very small, 2 to 3 inches, that the poster doesn't have any visual impact. It's as if this is meant as a book illustration, and not for the wall. In some cases, too, the colors seem off: the cardinal feather, for example, is orange (it doesn't even look like a female of species). I am also bemused by the choice and range of species: house sparrow? The bottom line is, if I'd seen this in person before I asked for it, I wouldn't have. If you hung this by your desk where you would study it close up, you might be happy with it.
